Come out to the Balkan Dance Party, hosted by Zafira, at the new Istanbul (4130 Butler Street, Your Vagabond no longer) on Friday, November 27th to check out the collaborations that will flow between August & his talented friends. I know of just a small handful of people who will be performing (Lynnette Garlan of Eastern Watershed & Khafif, to name just one), and I will be sitting in with members of Kirik Hava and, if my sneeky trick works, might even sing a song or two with him.
